Introduction
Founded in 2019, the Institute of literature and Document is subordinate to Key Research Institute of Yellow River Civilization and Sustainable Development. Relying mainly on the doctoral program and the post-doctoral station of Chinese language and literature ,the institute integrates secondary subjects such as t Chinese ancient literature, Chinese classical documents, Chinese modern and contemporary literature, Chinese folk literature, folklore, etc. The institute main research contents are the literature and documents in the Yellow River basin and the Yellow River in the other documents.Around three key words of tradition, local and folk, the research’s tasks are building the Yellow River literature database under the modern information technology,collecting and collating systematically theancient documents of the Yellow River,combing and exploring the generation and evolution of the Yellow River literature. The present research fields are the ancient classic texts, myths and legends, local opera, modern newspapers,etc.
Over the past decade,at least ten academic works and one hundred papers have been pubished in Social Science in China,Literary Review,Literary Heritage,Modern Chinese Literature Studies,Theoretical Studies in Literature and Art,China Publishing Joural,etc. These research results provide important support for the discipline construction of Chinese language and literature in Henan University, and provide important doumental support for the inheritance and promotion of Yellow River culture.
