Abstract：The county-level economy is a hot topic in the field of human geography, and is also an important force to promote regional development. We investigated the whole 331 villages of Xinzheng City, Henan Province, China, made use of the software of ARCGIS, and then analyzed these types of land use and their changes in the Xinzheng City between 1990 to 2014, the paper found that: Spatial interface theory is an important theory to reveal the spatial differentiation of county-level economy, but there showed great differences in its forms, types and effects. This type of area of multiple spatial interface superposition is better than that of the single spatial interface, which is better than the area of no spatial interface. Human spatial interface area most precedes natural spatial interface. Open spatial interface area is superior to that in closed spatial interface. There are five types of spatial interface in the study area of this paper, including these areas of the urban (town) -rural interface, the infrastructure interface, the natural interface, the resource interface and no spatial interface, and their mainly economic activities include the expansion and transformation of urban, the building or expansion of infrastructure, the exploitation of resources, removal and reconstruction and other economic activities. The formation, development, evolution and transformation of the spatial interface are internal forces of the spatial differentiation and reorganization of the county-level economy.
